According to market news, Hon Hai has signed a contract with Huangjiang Yuyuan Industrial Park, which is expected to invest nearly NT$700 million, and it will start production in March and April as soon as possible.

Hon Hai Chairman Terry Gou has said that he will become the world’s second largest panel maker within three years. He also confirmed that this year will separate the formation of a subsidiary of Chi Mei’s touch panel division.

The legal person stated that Hon Hai’s next growth goal is to lock down the panel, energy saving and biotech medical industries.
